Changes

Changes, sometimes they’re good, sometimes they’re bad, but we have to make the best of them!

I have some good changes to share with you today!

#1. Most people already know, but I hadn’t said anything on my blog yet. My family is moving back to Houston! For those of you that don’t know the story… My family moved to Maryland last March (I believe..) because of a job transfer for my dad. At that time, Brannon and I had only been married for 4 months, and lived in Fort Worth. While we were still 3 1/2 hours away from them when they were in Houston, it was wayyy better then them being 20+ hours away in Maryland.
In June of last year, Brannon got a new job in Houston and we were able to move back and be closer to our friends and his family. This was really great, for a while… But it has been really hard for me to be so far away from my family. Being the oldest of four, always having someone home when I was home, and always having someone I could coax into going shopping with me, that was great! I was spoiled! So while they have lived so far away from me it has been really hard. *many tears were shed*
But now, they are moving back!! They will be here by the end of next month, and I am so excited! I missed shopping with my sister, wrestling with my “little” brother, being able to holler for CALEB! if my computer was on the fritz, and being able to spend time with my parents whenever I wanted.
One month left, and they will be back! *God answers prayers!*

#2. My new blog!! I am really excited about this because I was able to make all the graphics for it, and that is so awesome to me. I am loving the design classes I am taking and so glad I am already able to apply what I am learning!
Some key things to look for on my blog:

You can follow me at all these different places: Instagram, Twitter, Bloglovin’, Pinterest. You can check out my shop on Etsy, and my portfolio on Behance.

Also, underneath all of those buttons I am slowly adding links to a few of my favorite blogs, be sure and check them out! And if you would like to be on my “favorite” blog list, leave me a comment or send me an email… breepair (at) gmail.com

#3. I have shut down my Facebook account, for now. The past month or so I have just been realizing how much time I actually spend on it. I love the fact that Facebook allows me to keep up with friends and family that lives far away, but I don’t love the fact that what I was spending the most time on there was reading the updates of people that live near me, and that I see more consistently. I realized that I needed to get off for a while, and focus more on me, my husband, my goals, and my God. So for now, I am “off” Facebook, indefinitely. (And after 2 full weeks of being facebook-less, so far its been great!) :)

I hope you are all having a wonderful Monday! This week I am looking forward to.. project due dates, Rodeo Thursday, all day Friday with Brannon, and 1/2 Marathon on Saturday (Brannon running, not me, hehe).

Hi! I'm Bree

In my day-job, I teach amazing individuals how to make money with their blog and social media! I started blogging back in 2010 as a hobby, and it turned into my dream job—helping women make their own money on their own terms. Blogging became a job that I love—now, I’m back to use this online journal as a fun place to document my life so I can look back 20 years from now and remember all the magical things.

I use baking as a way

And I love to play hostess and make my guests fabulous cocktails...
