I have been dying to do embroidery lately! You know me, always wanting to try a new craft project!
This was my very first piece and I’m so excited about how it came out!! I’ve never been shy of trying out a new technique or craft, and I’m glad I decided to try this. You can be sure that I’ll be trying out a lot more embroidery projects in the future. I’ve got several ideas up my sleeve and I can’t wait to see how they turn out.
Have you ever tried embroidery? Or is there another craft you’ve been wanting to try but haven’t had the guts to do yet? I’d love to hear about it, and see if I could help you out with it.
Forcing myself to do something crafty with my hand gives my brain a break from the computer and really helps me to be even more creative when I have to sit back down and design. That’s why if you came to my house you’d see a big basket full of craft supplies for my felt ball garlands, and sitting on my table right now are tons of embroidery threads. Peek into a guest room closet and you’ll find even more treasures to craft with. I have to keep them out of sight or it drives poor hubs crazy.
This little pretty will be making its debut in my Etsy shop too I think. Although, I’ll be sad to see it go… I guess I’ll just have to make another one.
Tomorrow I’m going to be showing off some of my recent blog designs that I’ve finished. Including one I just did yesterday for one of my IRL (in real life) Blog Besties – Jenn!
Happy Tuesday!
