We made it to Friday! You know what that means???
Today we have a lovely little guest (pun intended) ;) Ms. Jessica! She is one of the sweetest people I have met, so if you haven’t checked out her blog, be sure to do that! You will be pleasantly surprised.

Hi lovelies! I’m Jessica & I blog over at Lovely Little Things, a blog about staying creative, appreciating life’s little things & inspiring others.
I am so excited to be guest posting for Bree today, and even more excited that it is a post about health & fitness…something that I am really passionate about :)
What motivates you to eat healthy and workout?
When I first started my journey to a fit & healthy lifestyle I was around 16 years old. Before that I was overweight and terribly out of shape. So in the beginning, fear motivated me…I was afraid of what my body would be become if I didn’t shape up. But now after living a healthy lifestyle for over 5 years, feeling GOOD motivates me. I love pushing myself and seeing the results. It’s an accomplishment that never gets old!
How do you make yourself workout even if you are worn out and just “not in the mood?”
The way I see is, taking care of your body by working out is just as important as taking care of your body by taking a shower, brushing your teeth or eating dinner. Working out has to become a part of your life just how those things are. It’s important to fit working out into your schedule just how you would fit any other thing into your schedule. Sometimes if I do feel burnt out, I can just switch up my routine a little bit and that gets me bad on track. Instead of a vigorous cardio/strength training work out, maybe I’ll opt for a bike ride one day instead. Working out has to become a part of who you are and what you do…you wouldn’t stop brushing your teeth would you? So then you shouldn’t stop working out either :) Both are important in taking care of your body!
What is your top 5 “must have” workout gear?
one// Good workout shoes with plenty of support!
two// Lots of H2O (and a sweat towel…TMI?)
three// A wide headband to hold back my short hair and that doesn’t slip off of my head.
four// A rocking playlist to keep me energized until the end of my workout! I change this up monthly so that I don’t get tired of the songs.
five// An armband that holds my iPhone while I’m running so that I can listen to music.
What is your favorite motivational quote?
“It’s a lifestyle. Train like there’s no finish line.”
Thanks for having me, Bree :)
