Healing

Hi everyone! Thank you for all your wonderful comments on Tuesdays post. Every single one means so much to me. Its amazing to me that people can be so nice and pray for each other even if we have never met face to face. Its such a wonderful thing.

My friend got to the rehabilitation facility on Wednesday night. I hadn’t gotten to talk to her until today. I just got off the phone with her. She said she had a hard time sleeping Wednesday night, but slept a lot better last night. In group sessions all throughout the day, different activities in between (hanging out with other people there, basketball, arts and crafts..) and her family has been going to see her during visitation hour at night. She told me she is going to be there until Tuesday. (or Monday… crap, can’t remember) So she’ll get to see fireworks on the 4th. That’s good. She loves fireworks. :))

Just trying to shower her with love. Be there for her. I pray for the right words to say every time I get to talk to her.

Me? I’m okay. Today is a better day. Wednesday night was horrible for me. I was freaking out, emotional, scared, upset, etc. Kept waking up throughout the night, and was able to sleep a little better once the sun came up. *go figure* Slept good last night though. Thursday I kinda went throughout the day in a fog. I always get my phone after Brannon leaves for work and text her and then we talk throughout the day. So not being able to do that was strange… and just reminded me even more about what happened.

Hence- why there was no blog post yesterday. :))

But today, I’m doing better. God is in control, and I am so glad He saved her from herself. I’m so glad He cares about me and has given me a wonderful supportive family and an incredible husband that is there for me. I’d be a mess if I didn’t have that man. He is my rock.

On another note. :)) I have family in town, my uncle and baby cousin (she’s 11, but she is the youngest cousin I have). They’re from Australia, so I only get to see them about once a year. They went to visit an aunt in Louisiana yesterday and part of today, but will be back sometime this afternoon. So we are going to go to my parents and spend time with them. :))  I’ll have to get some pictures taken tonight. I didn’t the other day when I saw her and now I am regretting it.

Oh, and I went and did some retail therapy yesterday. :)) Got a couple pairs of shorts from old navy, a pair of yoga shorts from target, a dress on clearance at target ($7!), Rascal Flatts newest CD! And I finally got that Fitbook I have been wanting! You can click on the image below to learn more about it.

Hi! I'm Bree

In my day-job, I teach amazing individuals how to make money with their blog and social media! I started blogging back in 2010 as a hobby, and it turned into my dream job—helping women make their own money on their own terms. Blogging became a job that I love—now, I’m back to use this online journal as a fun place to document my life so I can look back 20 years from now and remember all the magical things.
