Hey y’all! I am so excited to introduce to you my sister – Jessica! She blogs over at The Girl with Glasses, a fashion lifestyle blog. She is going to be joining me over here on Fridays for a Beauty Post! I’m super excited to have her as a blog contributor. If you’re interested in being a recipe or diy contributor, send me an email and we’ll talk!

Hello everyone! If you’re a newbie at doing nail art or you just simply don’t have the time and patience to do much with your nails, this is the manicure for you! I wanted to do something simple yet look classy and unique. So I grabbed my favorite OPI nail polish and sparkly Butter London and just went for it. I created a half moon shape on two fingernails and just let the others speak for themselves. Because let’s face it, that periwinkle purple just screams, “look at me!”
Enough with the chit-chat… let’s get into it!

1) Clear top coat (I used my favorite top coat by Seche Vite)
2) One nail polish (I used, OPI You’re Such a Budapest)
3) Sparkly nail polish (my favorite, Butter London Rosie Lee)
4) Hole reinforcements (you can get these at office depot, staples, target, etc.)

Step 1) Make sure your nails are clean, trimmed and prepped with a base coat
Step 2) Apply two coats of your nail polish color and let that dry completely
Step 3) Apply the hole reinforcements (Now this step you can get creative. Add as many as you want to all or a few of your nails. And for contrast you can position them higher or lower on the nail)
Step 4) Apply the sparkly polish (For this step you want to work quickly. So after you applied the sparkly polish you want to immediately take the reinforcement off. If you wait for the polish to dry you won’t get a clean and even line.)
Step 5) Apply your top coat and admire!

{xoxo, Jess}
