Neutral Chic Office Tour

officepost
A while ago I posted my inspiration board for my office! This was when I had just painted my office and was about to begin decorating. I wanted a neutral office, but very chic.

I purchased the picture frames at Hobby Lobby and got white matte board cut for them. Hobby Lobby has a TON of matte board options- if you need to frame anything go when they are having a sale, or bring your coupon.
I went to Paper Source and picked out three different fancy papers that had gold in them, and cut them to fit inside the frames. It came out just as I imagined! I wanted something simple, neutral, and not too busy.

The picture is fabric that I got from Hobby Lobby (yes, I am a HL addict, sign me up), I covered a large canvas with the fabric, stapled it to the back, and then added really pretty nail heads (also from Hobby Lobby).
I grabbed some of the books I had laying around my room, and took the covers off, and they were gorgeous underneath! I found 5 that fit the color scheme perfectly! You don’t have to spend a lot on decoration, use what you already have around your house.
The crates I purchased from Bed Bath & Beyond online. I think they came out to $17 each? Use a coupon! They delivered them fast, and I love the way they look. I am trying to incorporate more natural wood throughout the house, and these match our dining table.
kate spade office
I l-o-v-e how this came out! I had found the folders online (Kate Spade! *swoon*) and had been searching high and low for the perfect organizer to put them in. I wanted something minimal so that I could show off the folders since they matched the office perfectly. I found this organizer at Target – its actually the RE brand. It expands and contracts to whatever length you want, and it was originally a really plain silver color. *insert spray paint* And now its perfect! I’m so glad I decided to get it. You could spray paint it any color you want.
The cute chevron vase/container (nope- not an interior designer) was a gift from my parents- I believe its from Z-Gallery.
neutral office decor
I have a love/hate relationship with this desk. I love it because its really big and I can spread out everywhere. I hate it because I spread out everywhere and 9 times out of 10 it looks like someone ransacked my office in search of fortune. No fortune here y’all, just watercolors and lots of notebooks. Which… if I was searching for something, that’s what I’d want. *shrug*

Fresh flowers on my desk is my favorite! Speaking of which… I need to go get some fresh ones.
I hope you enjoyed looking around! Do you have a board on pinterest for all of your beautiful office dreams? I do- and it looks nothing like this. But, I love it! I think I have multiple personalities when it comes to pinterest. I’ll pin something glamorous and modern, and then renovated and french country the next. #ihaveaproblem

  1. My pinterest office stuff is minimalist white but in real life I dont think it would work. Your is super cute. Of course Kate Spade anything is necessary! Love that vase.

  2. Love it! Simple is definitely the way to go for me. I actually have that “get it girl” pillow you listed on your inspo board in my office. I love it! :)

    1. Thanks girl!! :) I lovee the crates, I was nervous buying them online and not seeing them in person first. My advice when buying online- measure everything twice! I checked and double checked to make sure they’d look okay in the space.

  3. I actually do have a pinterest board called “dream office” it includes a desk made out of a piano! <3 I love the fabric covered canvas! I pinned it because I'm going to steal that idea from you! :)
