Patriotic decor that will give you a bang for your buck! *pun intended*

All of these items can be found on Amazon because it’s easier than running out to the store during the summertime. There are plenty of other things you need to do, and who wants to go hunting for things like this when all of the kids are out of school and wandering the aisles of Target? Not me! Plus, Amazon Prime! So if you’re reading this a little late to the game and panicking, I got you, babe.

Now, I’m all about saving money on parties. So, even if you were to go gangbusters and buy everything I suggest, you’d spend: $105.54

I include some money-saving tips throughout these ideas, as well as a list at the bottom of the post on how to divvy up everything for the party between your guests!

50 pack of flags for just $15.95

Flag Bunting for $8.96 Simplified decorating tip: Buy 3 and hang them right next to each other for a 15ft statement!

Patriotic Tattoos are a family tradition over here. I love these ones because you get 144 for just $9.99 plus they glow in the dark! It doubles as decor you can set out on the table for centerpieces, and a fun treat for the party guests!

U.S.A. Giant Gold Foil Balloons $7.96 each. Money saving tip! Fill them with air instead of helium and then hang or tape them somewhere. That way, they’ll always face the right direction, and you don’t have to spend $30+ on helium!

Patriotic Popcorn Boxes for $11.99 Money saving tip! Place these on your tables and fill them with rock, gravel or dirt that you’ve got around the yard. Then, place 3 of your flags (that you got in your 50 pack) in them! Place the rest around your food and drinks stations to hold straws, napkins, candy, condiments, and more!

Patriotic Disposable Plastic Tablecloths (12 pack!) for $9.99 First of all, I am shocked that these are only $9.99. I think these would be so adorable for any party. There are a lot of other options too, not all this cheap, but close to it!

To wrap it up I would get these Blue Paper Plates for just $8.51 to go on those red and white tablecloths. Money saving tip! Use the white napkins you already have at home. Purchase his 50 pack of Red Plastic Cups for $3.78 & this set of White Disposable Plastic Cutlery for $10.49 and my friend you are done!

Here are some other money saving tips for your next patriotic party:

  • Plan the menu then divvy it up between your guests! Have one person bring hot dogs and fixings, and another bring corn on the cob. Someone else can bring fruit, another brings desserts, and you take care of drinks, chips, and a veggie platter.
  • Divvy up the entertainment! Have everyone bring a few of their favorite fireworks to shoot off.
  • Grab the loudest speaker you have in the house and turn on some music to add some pep to the celebration.
  • Pull out all the outdoor games and ask your guests to bring their favorites. Here are some ideas:
    • Cornhole
    • Water balloons!
    • Bocce Ball
    • Crochet
    • Waterguns

So, which items are you adding to your Amazon shopping cart? What else would you add to this list? If you loved this post, I would love it if you shared it on Pinterest using the image below!

I started blogging back in 2010 as a hobby, and it turned into my dream job—helping women make their own money on their own terms. Blogging became a job that I love—now, I’m back to use this online journal as a fun place to document my life so I can look back 20 years from now and remember all the magical things.
