Sunday Social

Hi Everyone!

Its a lovely Sunday afternoon, kinda cloudy, so not scorching hot. Olympics watching, sketching, blogging, and napping day.

How to- recover from being oh so rudely awakened from a nap? Its tough. Sheesh. I think I’m going to counter it with coffee and pinterest. . . Yep. Sounds like a good plan to me.

And ya know… I neverrr post on Sundays, but I just love the Sunday Social so, I decided to participate today. Blogging makes me happy. Think I’m gonna grab my cup of coffee and then answer all these fun questions! :))

Sunday Social

 1. What is your favorite fall activity?
Football! I am a huge football fan. I love going to games, watching them on tv, having football parties, cheering for my team *BRONCOS!!*… yeah, all of it. :))   And for my birthday I got a Peyton Manning Jersey, so I am ready to go! First game, August 9th (pre-season of course) and I am so excited!

I also love the fall decorations, scarves, pumpkin spice muffins. I just feel like here in Houston I kinda miss a lot of fall. I want to decorate for fall in September-October, but last year it was soooo hotttt still. I am really hoping for a cool fall and a COLD winter! Cuz last year, we got ripped off.

 2. Do you follow a football team? If so, which one and why?
Oops! I kinda answered this one above didn’t I? :))

Yes! The Denver Broncos! Its my home team. I lived in Colorado for over 10 years, so that’s just who I cheer for! I really do like it here in Houston, but.. Once a Denver Broncos fan, always a Denver Broncos fan! I bleed Rocky Mountain Orange and Blue! <33

3. What is something fun about Fall in your area?
Um… back to school? Hahaha, I’m excited about that, sorry.

Otherwise- COOLER WEATHER! We can finally go back outside and bbq and hang out again! There is the Texas State Fair up in Dallas, I’d really like to go to that this year, I have never been before! *sad* Gonna try really hard to go this time. :))

4. Favorite Fall Outfit Staples?
Scarves!!! <33

I like really big scarves like this one. Just throw on a thin sweater or long sleeve t-shirt and a giant scarf. That’s how we have to pair it here in Houston anyways, otherwise we’ll start sweating. :( Jeans, boots, thick sweater and a scarf? …. not gonna happen unless it gets COLD. Come onnnn cold weather! <33

Also, I just started wearing leg warmers last winter and I loveee them! <33

Aren’t these ones so super cute!?

Also, I spotted this sweater at Target about a week ago, and I just loveeed it! I can’t wait to go buy it. :))

5. Thing you are looking forward to the most this Fall season?

Going back to school. I am loving the design classes I am taking and I just want to learn more!!
Getting my 1st AA diploma. This one is Associate of Arts with study in Business. :) I finally applied for graduation for this one, even though I’ve had all the classes for a long time. lol. *oops*
Football games! I really want to go to one this season. Whether its college or pro. Pro probably wont happen since its so expensive, but ya never know!
 My 2nd Wedding Anniversary. *awww*

6. Favorite Fall Holiday? Traditions?
… What other Holidays other than Halloween and Thanksgiving are there? : lol
Well, out of those two, my favorite is Thanksgiving of course. :) Traditions… spending time with family, eating too much food, watching football, playing games, and going shopping. :))

By the time Thanksgiving gets here our tree will already be up, it will start to feel all holiday and Christmasy!   Yes, the tree goes up super early. (try October) NO Judging! We like to enjoy our holidays! <33 For a long time! Nothing says cozy like a Christmas tree, lights, and decorations everywhere!

Oh, and um.. I l-o-v-e the Starbucks red coffee cups! <33

Sigh…. Its going to be a great fall. :))
