I have been trying to get in the Christmas mood lately. Since its been about 84 degrees here, its difficult for me. I am still a Colorado girl at heart. And 84 degrees on December 3rd kinda throws me off.

So I have started to get the Christmas decorations out and putting a few up here and there when I’m taking a break from a project. I leave Christmas music on constantly and have been lighting a yummy sugar cookie candle that my mom got me.

One of my favorite songs came on the radio last night, a song by Celine Dion and Josh Groban, if you haven’t heard it, you should listen to it, it’s a truly beautiful song. I wanted to share the lyrics with you today.

“The Prayer”

I pray you’ll be our eyes, and watch us where we go.
And help us to be wise in times when we don’t know
Let this be our prayer, when we lose our way
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe

I pray we’ll find your light
and hold it in our hearts.
When stars go out each night,
Let this be our prayer
when shadows fill our day
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we’ll be safe

We ask that life be kind
and watch us from above
We hope each soul will find
another soul to love
Let this be our prayer, just like every child
Need to find a place, guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we’ll be safe

Now I don’t know if I am just very emotional right now or what, but this song brings tears to my eyes. It is such a beautiful prayer. I feel that there is so much uncertainty in the world right now and that people are worried about the future. I just believe that this song is so appropriate right now. And that is why I wanted to share it with you today.

It has a cute story about how Celine and Josh met at the beginning also.

Hi! I'm Bree

In my day-job, I teach amazing individuals how to make money with their blog and social media! I started blogging back in 2010 as a hobby, and it turned into my dream job—helping women make their own money on their own terms. Blogging became a job that I love—now, I’m back to use this online journal as a fun place to document my life so I can look back 20 years from now and remember all the magical things.
